🧾 Step-by-Step Guide: Microneedling Pen

1. Preparation

1. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water.

2. Cleanse your face with a gentle cleanser to remove makeup, oil, and dirt.

3. Disinfect the skin using 70% isopropyl alcohol or chlorhexidine solution.

4. Disinfect the pen and needle cartridge with alcohol before attaching.

2. Applying Numbing Cream

1. Apply a thin, even layer of numbing cream (e.g., lidocaine 5%) to the treatment area.

2. Cover with plastic wrap/film for 20–30 minutes to help absorption.

3. Remove the wrap, then wipe off the cream completely with a clean gauze pad and alcohol.

   • ⚠️ Never leave numbing cream on during treatment.

3. Microneedling Procedure

1. Attach a new sterile cartridge to the pen.

2. Set the needle depth:

   • 0.25–0.5mm → for serum infusion / fine lines.

   • 0.5–1.0mm → for anti-aging, light scars, pigmentation.

   • 1.0–2.0mm → for deeper scars, stretch marks (usually done by professionals).
